PREACHEASY PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. About this policy
PreachEasy is a Bible-learning platform intended for believers in Jesus Christ.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, protect, and retain personal information when you visit our website, register, study lessons, complete quizzes, participate in programme activities, make payments, or communicate with us.
It also explains how we handle information relating to recognised PreachEasy Preachers and their assigned students.
In this policy, “PreachEasy,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to PreachEasy.
This policy provides information about our practices. It does not replace any separate consent required for a particular activity.
2. Information we collect
The information collected depends on the features you use and your role on the platform.
Account information
We may collect your name, username, email address, mobile number, login credentials, and confirmation that you meet our age and registration requirements. Profile photographs and other optional details are collected only when you provide them.
Learning and participation information
We collect information necessary to record your learning activity, including lessons attended or completed, quiz answers, scores, percentages, completion times, feedback, challenges, points, and leaderboard results.
Referral and sharing information
We record referral identifiers, the relationship between an inviter and an invited student, relevant registration and lesson-completion dates, qualifying quiz activity, and matching-point calculations.
We also record information about visits through shared links, including the link identifier, click time, and technical information needed to count valid visits and detect manipulation.
Payment information
We may receive subscription details, payment status, transaction references, amounts, refunds, and other records needed for billing and accounting.
Payment providers process the payment credentials required by their services. Do not send us card security codes, UPI PINs, banking passwords, or payment OTPs.
Preacher information
For examination, recognition, student allocation, and monthly payments, we may collect assessment results, interview records, qualifications you submit, assignment records, bank or payout details, and tax information where necessary.
If an interview is to be recorded, we will explain the purpose, intended access, and retention arrangements beforehand and obtain consent where required.
Communications
We collect information you provide through support requests, emails, WhatsApp messages, complaints, and other authorised communication channels.
Technical information
Our website and service providers may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, access times, error logs, session information, and pages or features used.
We do not require access to your phone’s contact list simply to share an invitation link.
3. Information relating to faith
Participation in PreachEasy, and information you choose to share, may reveal your religious beliefs or interests.
We use this information only as necessary to provide the faith-based learning services you request and for purposes explained in this policy.
Please avoid including unnecessary personal, medical, financial, family, or confidential information in feedback, public posts, or prayer-related messages. Do not disclose another person’s private information without authority.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage accounts.
- Provide lessons, quizzes, feedback, and learning records.
- Calculate scores, points, referrals, and rankings.
- Verify examination eligibility and administer assessments.
- Award and maintain preacher recognition.
- Allocate students and support their learning.
- Process subscriptions, refunds, and monthly preacher payments.
- Respond to enquiries and complaints.
- Protect accounts and investigate suspected fraud or misuse.
- Maintain and improve the platform.
- Meet applicable legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
We seek consent where required and identify mandatory and optional information when collecting it.
If information is necessary for a requested service and you choose not to provide it, we may be unable to provide that particular service.
We do not treat registration as permission to use your information for unrelated purposes.
5. Referral tracking and matching points
We use referral records to identify directly invited students and calculate eligible matching points.
Under the programme rules, matching points begin only after the invited student has completed both seven days from registration and seven lessons. Only eligible test or quiz points earned after meeting both conditions qualify.
We also record whether the inviting student has completed their own quiz for the relevant day.
An inviter may receive limited information needed to understand referral credit, such as whether a referral qualified and how many matching points were credited.
Being an inviter does not automatically give someone access to the invited student’s contact details, individual quiz answers, private feedback, payment details, or complete learning record.
6. Leaderboards and public visibility
PreachEasy operates the Star Learners, Star Helpers, and Star Preachers leaderboards.
Depending on the leaderboard, displayed information may include your chosen display name or username, rank, quiz percentage, completion time, matching-point total, or valid-click count.
Before participation, we will explain whether the leaderboard is visible to registered users or to the public.
Personal phone numbers, email addresses, bank details, and private communications will not be displayed on leaderboards.
Where public identification is optional, we will provide an appropriate choice, such as using a display name. You may contact us about your visibility preferences.
Publicly visible information may be copied or shared by others. Avoid using private contact details as your public username.
7. Information shared with assigned preachers
When you are assigned to a recognised preacher, we may share the minimum information necessary for authorised learning support.
This may include your name or display name, assigned group, lesson participation, quiz completion, and relevant progress information.
Contact details will be shared only where necessary for the support arrangement, with appropriate notice and consent where required.
Assigned preachers must:
- Use information only for authorised student support.
- Keep student information confidential.
- Communicate respectfully through approved channels.
- Avoid unauthorised copying, disclosure, or personal marketing.
- Stop accessing or using student information when their assignment ends, except where lawful retention is specifically authorised.
Preachers do not receive your passwords, full payment credentials, or unrelated private support complaints.
Students may contact PreachEasy to report misuse or request reassignment.
8. Other parties who may receive information
We may share necessary information with service providers supporting website hosting, storage, payment processing, communication delivery, security, technical support, and accounting.
Providers acting on our behalf must be subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, and purpose restrictions.
Some services, including payment providers and social-media platforms, may also process information independently under their own privacy policies. We will identify relevant services at the point of use.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with a lawful request, meet a legal obligation, investigate fraud, protect users, or establish or defend legal claims.
If the organisation or platform is transferred or restructured, personal information may be transferred subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.
We do not sell personal information or permit assigned preachers to sell student information.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, protect accounts, and support referral attribution.
Where optional analytics or other non-essential tracking is used, we will explain its purpose and provide choices or obtain consent as required.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any available website controls. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or other requested features from working properly.
Any cookie notice or settings provided on the website should be read together with this policy.
10. Email, phone, and WhatsApp communications
We may send operational communications about accounts, subscriptions, security, examinations, student assignments, and requested support.
Optional promotional communications and learning reminders will provide consent and preference controls where required. You may request that optional messages stop by contacting us.
Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent necessary account, payment, or security communications.
We will not add you to a WhatsApp group without your agreement. Before you join, we will explain that other group members may be able to see your phone number, profile information, and messages.
WhatsApp and other external communication platforms process information under their own policies.
11. Feedback, testimonials, photographs, and videos
We use submitted feedback to support learning, respond to concerns, and improve services.
If feedback will be visible to other users or the public, that visibility will be explained before submission.
We will obtain separate permission before using your identifiable testimonial, photograph, or video in promotional advertising. Participation in learning does not automatically authorise such promotional use.
You may contact us to withdraw permission for future promotional use. We will explain any practical limits concerning material already distributed or copies independently made by others.
12. Information security
We will maintain reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information handled and the risks involved.
These include appropriate access restrictions, secure handling of account and payment information, and confidentiality requirements for authorised personnel and service providers.
No online system can guarantee absolute security. This does not remove our responsibility to take appropriate precautions.
Keep your login information private and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate, take appropriate corrective action, and notify affected people and authorities where required by applicable law.
13. How long information is retained
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable legal requirements.
Retention depends on the type of record:
- Account and learning records: Kept while needed to provide your active account, learning history, and requested services.
- Referral and click records: Kept as needed for attribution, point calculations, fraud prevention, and resolving disputes.
- Examination and recognition records: Kept as needed to administer assessments and verify recognition.
- Payment and tax records: Kept for applicable accounting, tax, and legal retention periods.
- Complaints and security records: Kept as needed to investigate issues, protect users, and meet legal obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or make it no longer identifiable, subject to lawful retention and backup arrangements.
PreachEasy’s lifelong-learning purpose does not mean all personal information is retained forever.
14. Your privacy choices and requests
You may contact us to:
- Ask about the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request account closure or deletion of information.
- Withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
- Change optional communication preferences.
- Raise concerns about disclosure, leaderboard visibility, or preacher access.
- Exercise other rights available under applicable law.
We may reasonably verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not ask for information excessive for that purpose.
Withdrawal of consent does not invalidate processing lawfully carried out beforehand. It may affect services that depend on the information concerned.
Some records may need to be retained despite a deletion request, for example to meet legal obligations, resolve an existing dispute, or maintain required financial records. We will explain applicable limitations.
You may also exercise applicable rights through an authorised representative or nomination arrangement where provided by law.
15. Account closure
To request account closure, email preacheasy.com@gmail.com or contact our grievance WhatsApp number.
Following verification, we will close the account and delete or de-identify information that is no longer required, subject to the retention provisions above.
Where appropriate, we will instruct service providers and assigned preachers to stop using and remove information that they no longer need or are no longer authorised to retain.
Account closure does not automatically cancel lawful payment obligations, erase required transaction records, or remove copies of material you independently shared on external platforms.
16. Children’s privacy
Registration under our current Terms and Conditions is restricted to people aged 18 or above.
We do not knowingly permit children to register under these general arrangements.
If you believe that a child has registered or provided personal information, please contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including restricting the account and deleting information where appropriate.
Any future programme for children will require separate age-appropriate notices, parent or guardian arrangements, and safeguards before collecting their information.
17. Processing outside India
If a service provider stores or processes personal information outside India, we will assess the arrangement and apply safeguards and restrictions required by applicable law.
We will provide relevant information about such arrangements through our notices or in response to a privacy enquiry.
We do not assume that use of the website provides unrestricted permission to transfer personal information anywhere.
18. External websites and social media
Our platform may contain links to external websites, videos, payment services, or social-media platforms.
Those services may collect information under their own policies. Review their privacy information before providing personal details.
Sharing a lesson on your own social-media account may make your activity visible according to that service’s settings.

Nothing in this policy prevents you from approaching a competent authority or exercising remedies available under applicable law.
20. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, practices, or legal requirements.
The revised version will show an updated date. Material changes will be communicated appropriately before they take effect.
If a change requires fresh consent, we will request it before carrying out the relevant processing. Publication of an updated policy alone does not replace legally required consent.
